This is a video of the process we had to go through to lift all of our brewing vessels upright. It was a pretty precarious job and required some interesting feats of engineering. The fermenters were relatively easy, as we didn’t have to worry about the forklift forks puncturing the sides. But the brite beer tanks and brewhouse vessels were a little more difficult.
The process was intense and required a lot of hands on deck. This video shows more than 6 hours of footage compressed to 3 1/2 minutes. Each of these tanks is 15 BBL in size, except for the mash tun/hot liquor tank, which is two 15 BBL tanks inside the same cylinder.
Be sure to check out the time-lapse video of when we unloaded the tanks from the delivery trucks: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=buGaToZEvIo
