It was our first day in Prague so we decided to experience the best it had to offer immediately.

The Czech Republic is known globally for its high quality beer. The first microbrewery that we went to did not disappoint! We went to Na Varandache and the service was amazing. The server was very knowledgeable of the beer and what food to pair it with.

The engineers visit the microbrewery twice a day to make sure that the quality is top notch!

We also ordered traditional Czech food. We had the Goulash, Svickova and Pork Knuckle. The pork knuckle was the highlight of the entire meal. It was sweet and savory at the same time. You definitely have to try it when you’re in Prague.

After all that eating, it was time to see some sights! We visited Charles Bridge first and to no surprise, there were a lot of tourists. We slowly made our way up to Prague Castle to see the wonderful view of the city. It was breathtaking!

It was a little bit of a hike to the top but it was all worth it. Good thing we had such a good first meal in Prague to power our hike to the top!

All in all, it was a very good 1st day in Prague!

  1. I hope you enjoyed your stay in Prague. But that beer you drunk – Staropramen is commercial one.You shoud try other ones from smaller breweries 😉

  2. Wooow, nice video.

  3. Tadeáš Menšík

Staropramen is cool. But next time make sure u try Pilsner (Plzeň). It is actually the best beer u can find in this country. And I dunno why he told u it´s like secret or small thing coz Staropramen is huge comercial company – still great beer tho but like 2nd or 3rd best.

  4. Saints Vitus Cathedral is not trully gothic one as it was finished in 1929. Foundations are really old but it was built over many centuries so It is mixture of Gothic, some Renaissance, Baroque (spire) and strong Neo-Gothic elements, and windows were painted by Art Nouveau artists. Neo-Gothic elements are very dominant on all Prague sights that look "medievalish" also Karlštejn castle lost much of its historical value in Romanticism with strong Neo-Gothic reconstruction of what was originally Renaissance castle.

  5. MMM… More food!!

  6. Prague is like a fairytale!!! Love how you showcased the beer too !

  7. marian telvak

The best beer is actually Plzeň 12 (First Lager in the world) and that’s the best seller everywhere in Czech staropramen is like the second or third best
